Variable resolveDesignator

Type Declaration

• • (designator: any, context: any): { type: any; values: any }

  • Resolves an AttributeDesignator to a bag of values.

    Looks in the request first, then asks the PIP, then — for the three environment attributes only — supplies them from the context's clock. A designator that finds nothing yields an empty bag unless MustBePresent is set.

    a processing error carrying a missing-attribute status when a required attribute is absent
