  • Returns the stream-owner principal named by an access token's claims.

    A client's token is its client_id in both modes, whether sub is the bare client_id or urn:sts:client:<client_id>; otherwise sub.

    Parameters

    • claims: any

      the verified access token's claims

    Returns string

    the client_id for a client's token, else sub (or the client_id when there is no sub)
