Type Declaration

- (document: any, opts: any): Promise<any>
- Applies a registration document's statement: its claims over the JSON when trusted, the JSON over them when not. Used by registration and by RFC 7592's PUT.
  Parameters
  - document: any
    the registration document
  - opts: any
    the verification options, as for verify()
  Returns Promise<any>
  a promise of { ok: true, metadata, statement, ... }, statement null when the document carried none, or a refusal
