Variable vetHost

vetHost: (hostname: unknown) => Promise<VettedHost> = ...

Forwards to FederationHttp.vetHost().

Type Declaration

- (hostname: unknown): Promise<VettedHost>
- Resolves a host once and says which address the connection may use.
  
  In development nothing is checked or pinned; in product every address the name resolves to is checked and the first is pinned. Never rejects.

  - hostname: unknown
    the host name or IP literal
  Returns Promise<VettedHost>
  a promise of { ok, address, family }, or { ok: false, kind, why } with kind internal or unresolved
