  • Parses an XML document with xmldom, never throwing.

    Refuses an empty document, one over the size cap, one xmldom reports an error or fatal error for, and one with no root element. Warnings do not refuse.

    Parameters

    • xml: any

      the document text

    • what: any

      what the document is, for the refusal; document if omitted

    • opts: any

      optional max, the size cap (CAP.LARGE by default)

    Returns
        | { code: any; detail: any; field: any; ok: boolean }
        | { ok: boolean; value: any }

    { ok: true, value } with the DOM document, or a refusal
