Type Declaration

- (kind: any, args: any, opts: any): Promise<any>
- Runs one operation in a protocol worker, through the read barrier.
  
  Resolves { dispatched: false } when it is not dispatched or no worker is ready, so the caller does the work itself.
  Parameters
  - kind: any
    family.operation
  - args: any
    the operation's arguments
  - opts: any
    optional; affinity names what to stick to, such as an LDAP connection id
  Returns Promise<any>
